We also process NFA transfers for suppressors, short-barreled rifles, and other regulated items, guiding you through the paperwork required by the ATF.

How It Works

Working with Cedar Lane Firearms is straightforward:

  1. Order or arrange your firearm or NFA item through your retailer, dealer, or private seller, and have it shipped to us as your licensed FFL.
  2. Once it arrives, we log it into our official ATF bound book and reach out to schedule your visit.
  3. You complete ATF Form 4473, and we run your NICS background check on the spot.
  4. We complete any additional paperwork required under Maine law, and your firearm is released to you as soon as everything is in order.
